Re: Why choose a career in logistics and supply chain management?

Logistics management is that part of supply chain management that plans, organises, implements, and controls the efficient, effective forward and reverse flow and storage of goods, services and related information.

It deals with the collection and delivery of goods between point-of-origin and point-of-consumption in order to meet customers’ requirements.

The world in general is a global marketplace with so many to sell and transport from one place to another. What does this mean for anyone looking to venture into supply chain management? It simply means lots of opportunities to explore and exploit which are most likely very lucrative. As long as the field you are placed in a company's supply management sector have a good reputation and service to offer, there will definitely be lots of activities going in and out of the company which means more money.
