The benefit of having trustworthy officers


Managers and supervisors are supposed to be trusted although we know that it cannot be achieved entirely. When there is mistrust with a high ranking personnel the usual reaction is to remove critical functions from his responsibility. And what happens to the position in question? The high salary is like being wasted.


In my first employment, the HR officer would always remind us (when I was promoted to supervisory level) that loyalty to the company is very important. That is the primary reason why we are given more bonuses than the rank and file and we also have the profit-sharing bonus as well. In return, the employees would show their loyalty in the kind of work that they render.
