Stricter policy for the delivery personnel

This is related to the news report that some drivers and assistant were deliberately slowing down their travel to add hours to their duties. A trip that can be accomplished in 5 hours would now take 7 to 8 hours on the alibi of heavy traffic on the provincial roads. One logistics manager said that if the trucks have the cctv then the manager in the office can view the environment of the truck’s location and therefore would see if the traffic is for real.

I think I can add to the issue the bad intention of the delivery team but I would rather not delve on the details. Let’s just say that the delay of the delivery is sometimes deliberate and with malice when the driver and his helper are not content with their wages. But maybe technology can curb that problem since a camera inside and outside the truck can clearly show the actual route of the trip.
