Regular review with the department of labor


Some companies forget to do a review of the regulations of the department of labor that later on complaints would put them in hot water. The most popular issue is the minimum wage violation of some companies because the minimum wage differs in every region. Another issue is the benefits that a company should provide like the medical insurance for workers in a risky area and also the life insurance in some cases. It is only right for the HR manager to attend the seminar at least once a year.


I understand that there should be one person in charge of the labor laws and should have a direct connection with the department of labor. When there is a new regulation then the person in charge would be notified particularly if the new regulation is about financial benefits of the worker. From what I remember, the HR manager of our company said that the set of labor laws here is always volatile with changes and amendments.
