Lack of clients results in warehouse vacancies

One such warehouse is currently experiencing lack of clients that only less than half of the capacity of the warehouse is being occupied. It is obviously loss of revenue and I can only blame the manager and the marketing officer. When the spaced used in the warehouse is less than half the capacity then it should be a cause for alarm. However if the economy is in the doldrums then that excessive vacancy is sure to happen.

The warehouse space rental is getting popular here particularly in the city since no new warehouses can be built due to the zoning issue. The recourse of the importers is to rent a warehouse space to at least have a depot inside the city. This warehouse space is very important for perishable goods that needed to be delivered at once and delays can cause damages to the product. I don’t see a reason for warehouses to have vacant spaces unless the warehouse manager is amiss with is job.
