Giving away samples creatively


This is not the usual giving away of samples of products that we see in the supermarkets. The promotional samples of corned beef was conducted by a cowboy and a cowgirl with the kiosk looking like a ranch where children can play on the haystack. It was one of the creative sample-giving that I saw and I guess it was very effective especially with the kids. Maybe mascots and the like are also effective in that area.


I think marketing people are now getting more creative and they are trying to deviate from the traditional plain giving away of samples. It is noticeable that some marketing staff would give you a sample of their product provided you take a picture of their product and post it on your social media account. It is like you are endorsing the product before you are given a sample.
