We all like to claim how successful our supply chain performance is, but how much of your confidence is backed by stats and data?

Here's an article which might help you answer this question

Re: Do most companies inflate their supply chain performance?

What are some of the most important factors when measuring the performance of a supply chain?

Over here the supply chain performance is measured not only by the profitability but also with customer satisfaction which is related to the prompt delivery and product quality. You can imagine when a client (in our branch office) is expecting the new computers in 2 days and the delivery is delayed for a week, that is a big issue that would reach the president of our company. There are times that a defective products is delivered. There is no way to test all the products coming in from the main supplier so it can really happen.
