Contract for the regular maintenance of the warehouse

This may sound petty but old warehouses need regular maintenance to assure the safety of the stocks. First in the list is the pest control and next are the needed repairs for the roof and wooden parts of the structure. If there is a contract then the contracted company will take responsibility for all the tasks that need to be done to the structure. That will also include the plumbing and electrical connections.

It is imperative for the warehouse manager to have a regular check for the facilities and structure of the warehouse. Perhaps a quarterly report on the matter should be submitted by the inspector so that the manager can prepare a request for needed repairs of enhancements. A spic-and-span warehouse should be free of problematic facilities and the structure should be architecturally sound even if it is old.
