BBG Management Corporation has an opportunity for a Logistics Director in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will obtain a position with one of the country’s top food distribution corporations. This individual would ideally be able to eventually take on the role of VP.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing business plans, priorities and opportunities to determine logistics projects and support reqs
- Providing logistical solutions for clients
- Participating in strategic supply chain assessments, regarding distribution, transportation, logistics and procurement
- Staying up-to-date with relevant technologies and industry best practices, evaluating the effectiveness of current or future logistics processes
- Developing logistics metrics, internal analysis tools, and performance indicators for internal teams
- Analyzing and interpreting logistics data for forecasting, demand planning, procurement, transportation, etc.
- Identifying ways to reduce costs and improve distribution processes

Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in logistics
- 5 years of retail experience
- Bilingualism, both verbal and written
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel within Ontario as required (around twice per month)
- Graduate degree in Engineering would be ideal
