We are moving the site this weekend as planned, at 2:00 pm AEST. (Sydney time)

It might take a couple of hours. All logins will remain the same, and this site will get redirected to the new one automatically.

Finally, I've been waiting for the news. It's great that the name has changed, I think it better represents the site as well since it is a forum after all. Couple of hours? I'd assumed that the only things that needed to be changed was the site data being pointed to the new domain.

It's a bit more complicated than that sadly. All the data gets moved across to the new domain/server, and then in fact the old domain, just gets pointed at the new one.

Well...we have moved. I hope it didn't cause anyone any problems.

Next job is to tidy up the site and make it look a bit better.

I am not sure which part of the process causes me the most headaches...the moving it self or the tidying up like you mention. Something about me just prevents from finally finishing the cleaning of anything, but I like to think I am getting better.
