    Yes, education is overrated.

    If you confuse education with schooling, education is overrated.

    If you confuse education with attending college lectures, education is overrated.

    If you limit your understanding of education to rote learning, it is overrated.

    If you confuse education with the marks scored in exams, it is definitely overrated.

    From the point of view of the employee the best way to deal with difficulties with your job is to be honest with your boss and exhibit a desire to work hard.
