  • Need help in developing linear programming model for vehicle optimization

    Hello Supply Chain experts,

I need help in building optimization model of vehicle. I need to find which vehicle to deploy to each customer location? and which part should be placed to each vehicle. The objective is to minimize the overall transportation costs.

I have customer requirement by no. of parts, and volume of each parts, so I know customer requirement by volume. Also, I know the maximum capacity of each vehicle.

Please let me know if anyone can help.
    Thank You

Well, if you already have all the data which you require to make use of in creating or building optimization model of vehicles with your transportation of products to your prospective customers, I believe it would be very easy to getting it done. The size of your company's transportation fleet is another thing to put into consideration with regards to the number of clients you are having products delivered to in their different destinations.
